Schedule

3 x 12-hour day shifts
Call required on a rotating basis, including weekends

Setting

Cardiac Observation Unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Electrophysiology Lab (2 years of experience)
Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience Considerations

Experience in PACU, ICU, telemetry, cath lab, or surgery center may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Key Responsibilities

Admit patients
Prepare patients for cath procedures, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms
Recover patients after cath procedures with conscious sedation
Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures
Discharge patients with teaching, documentation, and physical discharge

Clinical Focus

Pre- and post-procedure care for cath lab patients
High-risk, high-acuity cardiac observation care
