Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend/Holiday Work: Up to every other weekend
• Float Requirements: Must be flexible to float to other Emergency Departments as needed
• On Call/Call Back: 1 per 6 weeks, 2 per 8 weeks
• Charting System: EPIC experience required

Required Qualifications

• License: North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license
• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC
  • ENPC
• Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of Emergency Department experience
  • Level I Trauma experience required
  • Prior travel experience required
• Skills:

  • Emergency, Trauma, and Critical Care expertise
  • Ability to manage change well, resilient, and hardworking
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Additional Information

• Scrub colors allowed: Red, Black, Gray (solid colors only; no designs unless working in Pediatric areas)
• T-shirts worn under scrubs must be solid red, black, gray, or white (no hoodies or fleece jackets; scrub jackets allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless medically or religiously exempt
• Orientation week hours may vary; guaranteed hours apply except during unit closures for holidays

This position is ideal for experienced Emergency Room nurses with trauma expertise and prior travel contract experience seeking a travel assignment in North Carolina.
