Registered Nurse – Pre-Op

Overview

• Travel assignment in Antigo, Wisconsin
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Guaranteed hours: 32 per week

Schedule

• Variable 8-hour day shifts between 6:00 AM and 4:30 PM
• Start times range from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM
• Rotating every 6th weekend
• Holiday rotation required
• Seven days of call coverage required during the contract
• One-hour response time required for call

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Preoperative experience within the last year
• 2 years of preoperative experience
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Work Setting

• Pre- and post-op RN role
• May float to Merrill, Wausau, Stanley, and Medford
• Unit includes 3 ORs and 1 GI procedure room

Additional Notes

• Epic is preferred
• Scrub colors are provided
• Low census unbillable hours may apply
• Flu and COVID vaccination refusal requires masking at all times during flu season
