ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Portage, Wisconsin
• Primary location: MSICU
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour variable nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• Wisconsin RN license
• 2 years of ICU experience
• Med/Surg experience
• ICU and MedSurg competency
• Travel experience required

Schedule / Assignment Details

• Weekend/holiday coverage as needed
• No additional on-call or back-up requirements
• May be asked to pick up additional shifts for sick calls or similar needs
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview
• No more than 7 days of RTO allowed
• Blackout RTO dates: 12/20-1/5
• Scrub color: dark blue

Unit Information

• Medical and surgical patient mix, including joint replacements and general surgical patients
• 11 beds for COVID patients

Additional Notes

• Must live outside 50 miles from the facility
• AHA or ARC certifications accepted
• Flu season policy requires masking at all times if declining flu and COVID vaccination
• Observed holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
