Registered Nurse – ER (Travel)

Location: Waupaca, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed (except holidays when unit is closed)
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
Holiday Rotation: Yes

Job Description

• ER/ICU Float RN position covering multiple facilities within the system
• Must be comfortable managing both ER and ICU patient loads
• Unit size: 8 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Charting experience with Epic required within the last year
• No on-call or call-back requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (all issued by the American Heart Association where applicable)
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Additional Information

• Orientation: 8 hours, 8-hour unbillable orientation period
• Float requirements include coverage at all facilities within the system
• Billing week runs Sunday through Saturday
• Start date: ASAP
