Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Travel)

Location: Neenah, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 10 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (5:30 PM – 6:00 AM)
Schedule: Every weekend, holiday rotation
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Details

Work on Medical/Surgical 6th Floor, primarily caring for trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho patients
Patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:6 on night shift
Float within facility and to other facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed
No on-call or call-back requirements
Orientation: 8-hour unbillable orientation (8-hour shifts)
Charting system: EPIC (experience within last 2 years required)
Scrub color: Black

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with at least 1 year within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Neuro trauma experience
Ortho trauma experience
Experience with EPIC charting system within the last 2 years

Additional Notes

No new travelers accepted (must have prior travel experience)
No travelers coming from a facility or home location within 50 miles of the corporate campus
Billing week runs Sunday through Saturday
GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week; guaranteed hours except when unit is closed for holidays
