Job Summary
- Assist healthcare team during intra-operative period.
- Prepare and handle surgical instrumentation and equipment.
- Assist surgeon during surgical procedures.
- Provide care based on patient age and needs (neonate through geriatric).
- Apply aseptic technique and medical terminology knowledge.
- Prioritize, plan, and problem-solve during changing surgical situations.
- Recognize and respond immediately to urgent or emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain aseptic technique to ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Care for, prepare, handle, and maintain surgical instruments.
- Perform sponge, sharps, and instrument counts according to policy.
- Adhere to professional standards of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 2 years of experience.
- Recent experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED.

Shift & Hours
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
- On-call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM once a week.
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
