Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Job Summary

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
• Document care according to standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience required.

Education

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing required.

Certifications & Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association.
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam required.
• Continuing Education Units (CEU) for Stroke (4 hours).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam (if not already required).
