Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Specialty: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

Provide direct patient care with emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices
Support requests for durable medical equipment (DME) such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers
Assist in training patients on the use of inhalers
Set up patients with DME equipment
Collaborate closely with physicians

13 weeks

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 1 year hospital or physician office experience

Education

Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program (Required)
Graduate of an AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy program (Required)

Certifications & Licensure

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from NRBC
New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Skills

Computer literacy required

This position is a clinical allied travel role suitable for licensed respiratory therapists with relevant experience and certifications.
