Registered Nurse ICU - Critical Care (Cardiothoracic ICU)
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Description
- Work in a Cardiothoracic ICU specializing in post-cardiac surgery care directly from the OR.
- Manage patients including CABG, valve repairs, Ross procedure, thoracic cases, aortic dissections, and various ICU patients.
- Responsibilities include titrating drips (sedation medications and vasoactives), chest tube and line removal, patient mobilization, and monitoring daily weights.
- Care for patients supported by advanced devices such as CRRT, Tablo, Aquadex, Impella, IABP, Heart Mate III, external VAD, and ECMO.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
