Role Overview

Medical Care Unit with less acute patients who may be awaiting placement to long-term care
Unit is shared with Inpatient Rehab, and the nurse may float between both units
Patient populations include geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric patients
May occasionally be placed on call during low census and must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
CPI
Driver's License
Experience with Epic
2 professional references, including 1 supervisor reference
