Registered Nurse – Post Partum/OB/Labor & Delivery

Location: Traverse City, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
Weekend/Holiday/On-Call: As needed
Overtime: Available after 40 hours, no guaranteed hours

Job Description

• Provide care in a high-risk Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
• Circulate in the Operating Room (OR)
• Manage postpartum, antepartum, and newborn care
• OB triage experience preferred

Required Qualifications

Licensure and Education

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Experience in Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP)

Certifications (Must be current at start date)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
• STABLE certification

• Must submit a professional profile including resume, skills checklist, and contact information
• Minimum of 2 professional references required, both from managers, supervisors, or charge nurses (attestations not accepted)
