Job Description

• Position in Stepdown/CRU Float Pool.
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate (within a 50-mile radius).

Certifications Required

• RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure
• BCLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) for specific units
• NIH Stroke Certification for specific units
• Advanced Dysrhythmia certification prior to start for specific units
• IV Certification (for LPNs)
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
• Tech Cert Verification - National
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
• Background Check and various health documents

Health Requirements

• Physical Exam: Within the last 12 months
• TB Screening: PPD, QGold, or TSPOT required within 1 year of start
• Vaccinations:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu Vaccine (or approved exemption during flu season)

Additional Requirements

• Background Check: National criminal check, state & county search, SSN trace, national sex offender check, FACIS level 3
• References: 2 professional references within 3 years of start
• Education Verification: Required for the highest level of education
• Work History Verification: Verification of most recent employer
