Job Opportunity: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift (5 days a week, 8 hours per day, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

• Position requires a Cardiac Sonographer with fetal training.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, with recent experience within the last year.
• Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients.
• Fetal Echocardiography experience.
• Must hold a valid license appropriate for Cardiac Sonographer in California.
• 7-year criminal background check required within 30 days of start, including all counties lived/worked and sex offender registry.
• Copy of diploma/transcripts or education verification required (may start with pending verification).
• 2 professional references required (Charge RN or above preferred).
• Fit test for respirator required within 6 months of start (acceptable masks specified).
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 6 months of start.
• Required immunizations and health documents:

  • Tdap vaccine within the last 10 years.
  • Negative TB test (PPD, Qgold, or Tspot) within 30 days or 1 year of start; facility may administer a second PPD onsite.
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity documentation or vaccination.
  • Hepatitis B titer, vaccination series, or signed declination form.
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption form required during flu season (Oct 1 – April 1).
• COVID vaccines preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable.
• Primary source license verification required.
