Overview

• Location: Gaffney, South Carolina
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Hours per week: 48
• Start: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Patient ratio: 1:6

Setting

• Resource pool assignment with floating as needed within scope
• May float to other units if needed
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Must pass arrhythmia and medication testing on day 1
• Must be able to pass a fit test onsite
• On-call requirement applies
• One of the following is required: 2 on-call shifts or 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks

Scheduling Notes

• Weekend coverage as needed
• Block scheduling is not available
• All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application

• References: 2 within 3 years of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• TB screening or chest X-ray within 3 months of start
• Drug screen within 90 days of start
• COVID vaccination documentation or declination
• Flu vaccination documentation or declination, if applicable to start date/season
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation or approved exemption
• Respirator safety clearance if the clinician will use a respirator
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Photo for badge

Additional Notes

• Pending license accepted if obtained before start
• Local candidates are not accepted within 75 miles
• Attendance policy applies during the contract
• Shaving may be required to complete fit testing
