Job Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • Pediatrics OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
  • Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Assignment Details

  • First-timers are not accepted
  • Weekend work is not required
  • On-call is required: 1 weekend every 6 weeks and 4–6 weekdays every 6 weeks
  • Floating is required within scope, including to pediatric medical-surgical units and possibly ICU as RN assist
  • Local candidates are not accepted; 75-mile radius rule applies
  • Block scheduling is not available

Clinical Focus

  • Pediatric OR cases may include neuro, ortho, plastics, eyes, GU/GI, ENT, general, small amounts of GYN, spine, and some dental
  • No cardiac, vascular, or thoracic cases for Tennessee call coverage
