Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Pediatrics OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Assignment Details

First-timers are not accepted
Weekend work is not required
On-call is required: 1 weekend every 6 weeks and 4–6 weekdays every 6 weeks
Floating is required within scope, including to pediatric medical-surgical units and possibly ICU as RN assist
Local candidates are not accepted; 75-mile radius rule applies
Block scheduling is not available

Clinical Focus

Pediatric OR cases may include neuro, ortho, plastics, eyes, GU/GI, ENT, general, small amounts of GYN, spine, and some dental
No cardiac, vascular, or thoracic cases for Tennessee call coverage
