Location: Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 6 weeks (42 days)
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (7.5 hours/day)

Job Description

Position involves working as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with the ability to hold conversations using sign language.
Split assignment between a middle school (2.5 days) and a high school (2.5 days).
Caseload is collaborative with 2–3 SLPs per campus.
The district prioritizes manageable caseloads and balanced workloads.
Age group served: middle and high school students.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, with experience within the last year.
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
