Job Opportunity: Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Description

Neuro ICU position requiring 2 years of Neuro ICU experience preferred, specifically at a level one trauma facility.
Must have experience with intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring and lumbar drains.
Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
Required to float to other units as needed.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted.

Shift Details

Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Total 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 1 year of Neuro ICU experience within the last year.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Experience with intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring.
Experience with lumbar drains.
