- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
- 36 hours per week
Unit / Patient Care Setting
- IMCU / Step Down
- Float between units may be required
- Expected patient ratios: 1:3 and 1:4
- Every other weekend required
- On-call not required
- Block scheduling not required
- 48 hours not approved
Role Focus
- Higher-acuity step-down care
- Trach and ventilator patients
- Critical care drips / titrated infusions
- Intermediate care / step-down level patients
- Complex cardiac and respiratory patients
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Driver's License
- Experience caring for tracheostomy and ventilator patients
- Experience with critical care drips and titrated infusions
- Experience caring for complex cardiac patients
- Experience caring for complex respiratory patients
Additional Notes
- Travelers may be asked to float to other units and facilities based on skill set
- If floating consecutive shifts to Seaside, hotel may be offered
- Parking is free
