ER Charge Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Location: Olney, Maryland
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Weekend/holiday expectations: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Call: None
• Orientation: No off-cycle orientation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in Charge roles
• Stroke/TNK administration experience
• Experience with Cerner

Unit Details

• The department includes geriatric, pediatric, and psych ED care
• Candidate should be comfortable working across all areas
