Overview

• Travel/Contract role in New York, New York
• Outpatient RN
• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN license
• BLS - Basic Life Support, AHA only
• Infection Control and Barrier Precautions Certificate
• Required skills explicitly listed:

  • Nursing Assessment and Screenings
  • Vital signs
  • Phlebotomy
  • Patient recalls for abnormal lab results
  • Medication administration by mouth and IM, including vaccines
  • Technology literacy in documenting patient care accurately
  • Communication
  • Critical Thinking

  • Wound Care

Compliance / Pre-start Requirements

• Criminal background check within 30 days of start
• SAM required within 30 days of start
• OIG required within 30 days of start
• NY OMIG search required within 30 days of start
• 7-year work history and application history required
• 2 manager/supervisor references required
• Skills checklist required and updated annually
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Fit test within 1 year prior to start, updated annually
• Tdap within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella titers required
• Hepatitis B positive titer or declination required
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption required by 11/1
• Drug screen required within 1 year of start
