Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Oakland, California
  • Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
  • 36 hours per week
  • Winter coverage assignment with firm dates and possible extension
  • Home location: Highland Hospital
  • Float scope: Alameda Hospital and San Leandro with 4–6 hours’ notice before shift; will not float mid-shift
  • Candidate must work 2–3 holidays
  • Maximum RTO: 7 days; holiday RTO is unlikely to be approved

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • 3 years of experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Management of dysrhythmias
  • Telemetry- remote monitoring
  • Use of Rapid Response Teams
  • Blood Product Administration
  • Phlebotomy
  • Starting IVs
  • Non-invasive airway management

Assignment Dates

  • Firm assignment dates: 11/2/26–2/27/27
  • Possible extension to 04/17/2026
