Overview
- Travel/contract position in Columbus, Ohio
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- May be required to float
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- IV start capability
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Previous travel experience preferred
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Emergency contact form
- Background check
- Fingerprinting
- Pending background check attestation, if starting with fingerprint results pending
- Proof of fingerprint completion
- Background acknowledgement form for subcontractor candidates
- Dress code and hand hygiene policy acknowledgment
- Confidential fraud, waste, abuse, and compliance reporting form
- Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate
- Ethics and compliance policies acknowledgment
- Physical exam
- Tdap
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Negative 10-panel drug screen
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccination is recommended but not required
Additional Notes
- Annual safety manual acknowledgment required
- License verification required within 30 days of start
- NURSYS verification required
- Unit-specific competency exam required
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required within 1 year of start and annually, unless excluded by unit policy
- Some units may require NIH Stroke Certification and annual stroke education
- Some units may require EFM certification
- Parking is available through multiple permit options at additional cost
