Assignment Details

• Travel/contract role
• 13 weeks
• Day shift, 4x10 hours
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Floating required per facility needs
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• ASAP start

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Orthopedics experience

Interview

• Phone/virtual interview

Compliance / Onboarding

• Background check
• Government-issued photo ID
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit test within 12 months of start, then annually
• TB screening within 1 year of start
• Tdap within the last 10 years or declination
• Measles and rubella immunity documentation
• Mumps immunity status required
• Hepatitis B documentation or declination
• Varicella documentation
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
• COVID vaccine records or declination
• 2 professional references within 3 years of hire
• Skills checklist
• New York state registry and Medicaid exclusion list checks
• Signed facility onboarding documents and acknowledgements

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are accepted at a lower rate
• All requested time off must be submitted before offer
• No requested time off after offer will be approved
• Call-out/call-off policy: 3 shifts per 13 weeks
• Applicants without a New York license may still be submitted if they have applied for the license and provide the application date
• Automatic disqualifier: no hits on license approved
