ICU RN Travel Contract

Location

San Francisco, California

Schedule

12-hour rotating day/night shifts
36 hours per week

Contract Length

25 weeks

Assignment Details

Float pool position
Must be able to float to other facilities and departments
May float to ICU, ED, PACU, and other critical care areas
RTO must be submitted at time of offer

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
Completed references at time of submission

Preferred

2.5 years of ICU experience
NIHSS

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

Current and valid government photo ID or passport matching the professional license
7-year criminal background check
Education verification or copy of diploma/transcript
Two supervisory references from recent employment
Updated resume with 7 years of work history
Unit-specific skills checklist
Employment gaps of 30 days or more must be explained
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask testing within 1 year of start
Drug screen within 30 days of start
TB clearance documentation
Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B immunity or declination documentation
Tdap documentation
Flu vaccination or declination for the current season
COVID-19 vaccination is not required
Cyber security training and quiz
Advanced HIPAA training and quiz
Annual competency and compliance modules as assigned

Additional Notes

Must be able to complete facility orientation requirements before start
May be required to complete additional unit-based testing or competencies
