Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

Overview

Travel/contract role in Columbia, South Carolina
13-week contract
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Every other weekend required
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates accepted within radius rule
May float to other qualified units or campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
IV starts
Blood product administration
Central line management
Peripheral line management
PICC line management
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Heparin protocols
Geriatric-focused care
Experience with Epic

Clinical Skills

IV starts
Blood product administration
Central, peripheral, and PICC line management

Remote telemetry monitoring

Unit Details

Acute Care for the Elderly telemetry-capable unit
26 beds
Patient population is adults age 65 and older
Typical ratio: 1:5

Additional Notes

Pending license not accepted
RTO, block scheduling, and other special scheduling requests must be submitted with the application and are subject to facility approval at booking
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
