Job Description

• Position for a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• 1st time travelers accepted.
• Work schedule options:

  • 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (09:30 - 18:00)
  • 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (07:30 - 18:00)
• No weekend or on-call requirements. Closed on major holidays.
• Patient diagnoses include total joint replacements, ACL repairs, rotator cuff repairs, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, sprains, strains, and other orthopedic conditions.
• Skills and experience in dry needling, orthotic fitting, vestibular therapy, running assessments, bike fittings, concussion rehabilitation, and blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy are valued.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience is required.
• Sports medicine experience preferred.
• Business casual dress code.
• Collaborative team environment with 23 therapists and close work with referring physicians.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience.
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
• Experience in an outpatient setting.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.

Additional Requirements

• Background check within 12 months, including SSN trace, 7-year county and nationwide search, sex offender search.
• State-specific caregiver screening required for Wisconsin.
• Physical exam within 1 year indicating good health.
• Negative drug screen within 12 months.
• Immunizations and health documentation including:

  • TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months
  • Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption (annual)
  • COVID vaccine series preferred
  • Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella titers or vaccination proof
  • Hepatitis B titer, series, or declination (for new candidates)
• OSHA Respirator Clearance required prior to start for fit testing.
• Fit testing completed onsite during orientation.
• Completion of facility-specific orientation modules and checklists.
• Two professional references required.
• Skills checklist required.
