Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Primarily 4x10 hour shifts (06:30 - 17:00), with consideration for 5x8 hour shifts
• On-Call: Yes, 2-3 days per week
• Floating: Yes, may float within scope to main OR if needed
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Yes
• Guaranteed Hours:

  • 36 hours for 3 shifts of 12 hours
  • 48 hours for 4 shifts of 12 hours
  • 40 hours for shifts under 12 hours (8 or 10-hour shifts)

• Years of Experience Required: 2 years in CVOR or related OR settings
• First-Timers Accepted: No
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications Required

• ACLS (AHA only; Instructor, Provider, and RQI acceptable)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• I9 or Attestation
• Government Issued Photo ID
• E-Verify or Attestation
• 7-year Background Check (within 6 months of start, updated annually)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Education Verification (transcript or diploma accepted as placeholder if pending)
• Physical Exam (physician statement within last 12 months for records only)
• Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen (within 30 days of start)
• Flu Seasonal Vaccination or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (declinations not accepted)
• Various health immunizations and titers (TDAP, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella) with some declinations accepted except in specific departments
• TB testing annually (QGold, TSPOT, or 2-Step PPD)
• Completion of facility-specific forms (demographics, emergency contact, vaccine attestation, contractor screening checklist)
• Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement

This position is ideal for experienced CVOR RNs with Epic experience who are comfortable with on-call duties, floating within OR settings, and working a mix of shifts including weekends and holidays.
