Job Description

Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Address physical, psycho-social, safety, rehabilitative, and learning needs of patients and families.
Collaborate with nursing peers, physicians, and allied support services.
Manage care of assigned patients and direct ancillary staff activities.

Requirements

Valid RN license in California.
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Prior Travel Experience

Background and Compliance Requirements

7-year background check including SSN trace, county searches, sex offender search, education verification, and FACIS Level 3 screening.
