Job Opportunity: LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)

Location: San Francisco, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Job Description

  • Work 8-hour days
  • Must hold a valid California LCSW license or have a Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Minimum 2 years of inpatient experience required (higher years of experience not indicated)
  • Experience providing therapy to youth, group therapy, and family therapy
  • Ability to float to other facilities within the system

Required Credentials & Certifications

  • California LCSW or Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Current and valid Driver’s License, government photo ID, or US Passport matching professional license
  • Background checks including 7-year criminal history, nationwide and sex offender searches, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and education verification
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, including physician statement of fitness to work
  • Fit mask test within 1 year of start (specific mask types required)
  • Immunizations and health documents:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years (no declinations accepted except medical exemptions)
    • Negative TB tests (2 required) and annual TB questionnaire
    • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: IGG titer or 2 vaccines required
    • Hepatitis B: titer, series, or declination (declination must be signed within 1 year)
    • Varicella: IGG titer or 2 vaccines required (history of disease not accepted)
    • Drug testing: Standard 9 panel excluding THC within 30 days of start, re-run every 2 years
    • Flu seasonal vaccination or facility-specific declination required during flu season
    • COVID-19 vaccine booster 2 required; exemptions allowed with approval

Competencies & Testing

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (passing score 80%) within 1 year of start
  • Unit-specific competency exam (passing score 80%) within 12 months of start
  • Core Parts I, II, and III competency exams (passing score 80%) within 1 year prior to start and updated annually
  • Pass/Fail Telemetry and Medication exams required for nurses (not applicable for this role)

Additional Requirements

  • Two supervisory references required, preferably from the most recent place of employment
  • Current and updated resume including last 7 years of work history; gaps of 30 days or more must be explained
  • Unit-specific skills checklist updated annually
  • Ability to complete required facility-specific documents and training modules prior to or shortly after start
  • Must review and sign confidentiality and acceptable use agreements
  • COVID-19 preparedness and vaccination documentation required
  • Parking and uniform policies must be acknowledged
