Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology/Cardiology)

Job Description

• Position: CT Tech with Radiology/Cardiology specialty
• X-Ray experience is a plus
• Shift: 3x12 hour shifts

  • Friday and Saturday: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Thursday: Day shift (flexible)
• Start Date: ASAP

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Mississippi
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification required

Required Certifications

• ARRT CT credentials
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on assignment area
• National certification for CT Techs assigned to Mississippi (state license required for MS assignments)
• Fit Mask (3M N-95) test within 1 year, must pass without limitations
• Other certifications (PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.) generally not required for this role

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Background check within 60 days of start including:

  • Statewide, county, federal searches
  • Education verification (diploma/transcript not accepted as substitute)
  • Sex offender search
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and annually thereafter
• Drug test: Negative 10-panel within 30 days of start (no pending results accepted)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet job demands
• Immunizations required:

  • TB test (2-step PPD, Q-Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year, updated annually
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters if needed)
  • Hepatitis B (3-shot series, positive titer, or declination)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters if needed)
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season

Additional Requirements

• Two recent professional references required
• Skills checklist and internal evaluations required if employed with agency for 1+ year
• Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no glasses, no head coverings except religious, no piercings visible)
• Dress code: Ceil blue top and pants with optional white lab coat or matching scrub jacket for CT Techs
• Must submit all required documents at time of submission; no documents accepted after offer for approval
