First-time travelers are welcome.
No call, weekends, or holiday shifts required.
Typical duties include adult outpatient treatments, pre-treatment procedures, custom molds, portal casts, SBRT, electron beam therapy, and working with equipment/software such as Eclipse (Varian), ARIA, TrueBeam, and Epic.
Experience with benign brain tumors and Hodgkin’s lymphoma treatments is relevant.
Dress code includes purple scrubs.

Valid Radiation Therapist license in Illinois
Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification (ARRT T)
Experience with pre-treatment procedures, custom molds, portal casts, SBRT, and electron beam therapy
Proficiency with Eclipse (Varian), ARIA, TrueBeam systems
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Experience treating benign brain tumors and Hodgkin’s lymphoma

Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
Criminal background check within 12 months, including SSN trace, 7-year county residency/work history, nationwide search, and sex offender search.
Primary source license verification prior to start (Illinois state license required).
NURSYS verification (as applicable).
OSHA Respirator Clearance required prior to start for fit testing (fit testing completed onsite during orientation).
Negative drug screen within 12 months of start.
Physical exam within 1 year indicating good health.
Immunization and health documentation including:
- TB test (PPD, Qgold, or TSPOT) within 12 months or chest x-ray within 5 years if positive PPD.
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella titers or vaccination proof.
- Varicella titer or vaccination proof.
- Hepatitis B titer, series, or declination (required for new candidates).
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (must be renewed annually).
- COVID vaccination series preferred.
Completion of facility-specific orientation modules and documents including confidentiality, ethical conduct, and security agreements prior to start.
Post-start orientation checklists to be completed during orientation.
Photo for badge (passport style, plain background).

Candidates will be fit tested onsite during the first week of orientation; fit test results must be submitted to the agency.
No prior travel experience required.
References and skills checklist required as part of credentialing.
