Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Outpatient
Location: Brownwood, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (days)

Job Description
Seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting. The role involves providing therapy and rehabilitation services.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- I9 or Attestation
- E-Verify or Attestation
- Background Check (7-year, including SSN trace, counties, national, OFAC, sex offender; updated annually)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
- Education Verification (transcript or diploma acceptable)
- State-specific employability and misconduct registry checks for Texas within 30 days of start
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start (must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing)
- Fit Mask test (annual, specific mask types required)
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 1 year)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or vaccination)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination)
- Varicella (positive titer or vaccination)
- Seasonal Flu vaccination or exemption (for 2025-26 season)
- Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen including THC within 10 business days prior to start (no pending results allowed)
- References: 2 references within 3 years of start
- Employment application or resume
- Skills checklist (updated annually)
- Facility-specific documents and acknowledgments (e.g., confidentiality, compliance, patient-centered pledge) to be reviewed and signed prior to start
Additional Notes
- Pass/fail testing and competency exams may be required depending on department needs.
- Some certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), Chemotherapy, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), and others may be required as applicable to the role or patient population.
- Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required, with some modules taking 3-4 hours to complete.
- Parking available for orientation and employment.
