Job Details

• Shift: Nights
• Unit: ICU
• Bed Count: 12
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Start Date: ASAP

Required Experience & Licensure

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• CST certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Electronic Medical Record System

• Meditech EMR

Additional Requirements

• Must be willing to work within a 50-mile radius restriction
• Facility does not accept candidates with background or licensure issues

Required Documentation & Certifications

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Criminal background check (recent as per policy)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Primary source verification of South Carolina RN license (NURSYS verification required)
• ACLS (AHA only)
• BLS (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Certification (valid for 2 years)
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Required immunizations or documented declinations: Tdap, MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu (seasonal), COVID
• Drug testing (10 panel) within required timeframe
• Completion of facility-specific Relias training modules prior to orientation
• Badge photo meeting facility standards

Required Competencies & Evaluations

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Clinical references (2 required)
• Performance evaluation if previously completed assignments through any agency
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable unit

• Candidates must sign facility-specific job description and confidentiality agreements
• Annual background checks required by staffing agency
• Facility requires strict adherence to documentation and credentialing policies
