Overview

Travel/Contract role in Beckley, West Virginia
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
13-week assignment
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in West Virginia
Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT
Driver's License

Work Setting and Schedule

2 Cath Labs with rotation in EP Lab
M-F schedule with 1 rotating weekday off each week
Call requirement: 20 shifts per 9-week schedule, every other weekend
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
Float required within scope

Clinical Responsibilities

Table panning
Scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases
Assisting with devices/tools including Shockwave, Balloon Pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, and ACIST injector
Device implants including pacemakers and ICDs (single, dual, Bi-V)
Peripheral diagnostics and interventions
Cross-trained in EP ablations; training available
Uses both radial and groin access

Additional Details

8–10 procedures per day
6–8 STEMI cases per month
Call team is 2 RNs and 1 Rad Tech
Scrubs and lead apron provided
Orientation is held bi-weekly
Assignment confirmation is due within 24 hours of offer
