Job Description
Provide clinical and case management services to patients and their families under general supervision. Focus on promoting optimal individual, interpersonal, and social functioning, and support reintegration into the community or appropriate environment. Must have true psychiatric experience in an inpatient psychiatric hospital or psychiatric unit setting and be comfortable working with children and adolescents.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Vermont.
- Minimum of 1 year of Licensed Clinical Social Worker experience, including experience within the last year.
- Master’s degree in counseling, clinical social work, or other behavioral health discipline from an accredited graduate school.
- Experience working in an inpatient setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Additional Information
- Must be able to start by March 23.
- The position is based in a rural area with limited housing and public transportation options; candidates should plan accordingly.
- Work schedule may include blackout dates where time off cannot exceed 7 days or holidays.
- Overtime hours are paid at the base rate; holiday and callback hours are paid at 1.25x.
- Minimum of 2 hours applies to any callback services.
- Orientation is 8 hours and unbillable.
- The employer reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
