Job Opportunity: Temp Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT)

Job Description

• Primarily CT technologist role; X-Ray experience also required.
• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
• Apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis.
• May have supervisory or instructional responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and practice infection control per hospital and OSHA standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, PACS, HIS, and RIS systems.
• Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be willing to perform other duties within scope of practice during low census periods.
• No schedule accommodations or block scheduling allowed; requested time off must be submitted and approved at application.
• No more than 5 days of requested time off accepted.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years current CT/X-Ray experience required.
• Prior Travel Experience: Required; at least 6 months of previous travel experience with an agency. First-time travelers with an agency will not be considered.
• Must not be working a concurrent per diem/PRN assignment.
• Must have current Massachusetts Radiology License.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Active ARRT certifications in CT and Radiography required.
• Skills checklists for X-Ray Tech and CT Tech current within 1 year required.
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
• Must have own vehicle for assignment.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
