Sleep Tech - Sleep Medicine (Travel)

Location: Denver, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit Type: Sleep Lab
Number of Beds: 4
Staff on Unit: 7 total
- Day Shift: 1 supervisor, 1 admin assistant, 0.5 tech
- Night Shift: 3 full-time (losing 2), 1 PRN, 1 half-time
Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 1:2 depending on patient acuity
Equipment Used: Nihon Kohden Polysmith, ResMed BIPAPs
EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
A-STEP Program Certification
Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
Minimum 6 months experience as an EEG Technician
Sleep Technician experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working at high altitude
Basic scoring skills in sleep studies

Split night studies
Adaptive Servo-Ventilation (ASV)
