Sleep Tech - Sleep Medicine (Travel)
Location: Denver, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Sleep Lab
- Number of Beds: 4
- Staff on Unit: 7 total
- Day Shift: 1 supervisor, 1 admin assistant, 0.5 tech
- Night Shift: 3 full-time (losing 2), 1 PRN, 1 half-time
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 1:2 depending on patient acuity
- Equipment Used: Nihon Kohden Polysmith, ResMed BIPAPs
- EMR System: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
- Polysomnographer with at least 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- A-Step Program Certification
- EEG Technician experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at high altitude
- Basic scoring skills in sleep studies

- Split night studies
- Adaptive Servo-Ventilation (ASV)
