Overview

Travel RN role in the Emergency Room
Location: Lebanon, Kentucky
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend requirement: Every 3rd weekend / as needed
Call: No
Float: No
Number of openings: 1
Unit size: 11 beds
Patient ratio: 4:1
Patient population: all populations

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
TNCC
NIHSS
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Mix of community hospital and tertiary care facility practice

Unit / Clinical Details

Department: Emergency Room
Floor: 1st
Equipment: GE monitors
EHR: Medhost
Common diagnoses/treatments include cardiology cases such as STEMI and ACS, neurology cases such as ICH and AIS, GI, psych, trauma, code blue, OD, DKA, and KODA requirements

Additional Notes

Will work with 1 additional nurse at times
Team-oriented role with expected collaboration with staff, EMS, police, leadership, and patients/families
