Job Overview

Location: Portland, Maine
Employment type: Travel
Specialty: Operating Room
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekly hours: 48
Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, day shift
Weekend schedule: 1:4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
Call: One overnight trauma call (11:00 PM–7:00 AM); specialty team call follows team-specific rules

Required Qualifications

CST
Certified Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
Level 1 trauma experience
Robotics (DaVinci Xi) competency
PCNL (percutaneous nephrolithotomy) competency
Nephrectomy competency
Ureteral reimplant competency
Hysterectomy competency
Cystectomy competency
Colpocleisis competency
Hysteroscopy competency
Ureteroscopy competency

Clinical Experience / Skills

Experience with gynecology and genitourinary procedures
Competence with robotics, including DaVinci Xi
Experience with the following procedures: PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopies
Comfortable working with patients from pediatrics through geriatrics
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
