RN - Cardiac Critical Care

Job Overview

• Travel RN position in Indianapolis, Indiana
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call required
• First to float with low census

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS
• ACLS
• CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
• CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
• 2 years of critical care background including ventilator management with respiratory therapy support
• Experience with titratable vasoactive drips

Unit Details

• 16-bed cardiac critical care unit
• Typical patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
• Common patient population includes post-cath STEMIs, NSTEMIs, direct admits from other facilities, and medical ICU overflow
• Equipment includes vents, Arctic Sun, temporary pacemakers, and Swan-Ganz

Assignment Length

• 13 weeks

Dress Code

• Navy scrubs
