Job Description

• Open to a Cath Lab RN who can scrub and perform procedures efficiently.
• Required procedure experience includes:

  • TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
  • Mitral and Tricuspid Clips
  • Carotid Stenting
  • TMVR (Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement)
  • PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) closures
  • Watchman device implantation
• Unit has 5 procedure suites with a staff of approximately 4.6 RNs and 5 techs.
• Patient ratio: 1 patient to 3-4 staff members.
• Equipment used includes Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator.
• EMR systems: MacLab and Meditech.
• Typical procedures: Diagnostic and Interventional Cath, Peripheral Vascular, Pacers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR, EP/ABL.
• Schedule includes working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
• Day shift primarily; night shift is on-call for emergent cases.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Cath Lab Tech Certification
