Job Description

• Provide physical therapy services to reduce pain, improve or restore mobility, and promote long-term health benefits.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
• Work independently as the sole PT provider in the inpatient setting.
• Develop fitness and wellness programs to prevent loss of mobility.
• Treat a wide age range from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Use Meditech documentation system and Cerner EMR.
• Knowledge and competency in CMS skilled criteria and medical necessity guidelines required.

Requirements

• State Licensure: Required for New Mexico.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year inpatient physical therapy experience (outside of student clinicals).
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required).
