Unit Details

14-bed med-surg unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
Schedule: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period

Job Responsibilities

Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
Adjust specialized medical equipment as needed
Interpret and record measurements
Monitor patients' vitals and report adverse medication reactions promptly

Requirements

Current BLS/BCLS certification
No disciplinary actions on record
Years of specialty experience: 1 year (based on available data)
Prior travel experience: Not required

This position is suitable for nurses with med-surg experience looking for a 13-week contract on a night shift schedule with weekend coverage.
