Location: Mauston, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist treats injured, ill, or disabled patients through therapeutic use of everyday activities. The role helps patients develop, recover, improve, and maintain skills needed for daily living and working.

Essential Job Duties

• Evaluate and treat patients in acute care and nursing home settings
• Screen patients and attend meetings regarding patient progress
• Document evaluations, progress notes, daily notes, insurance, and discharge notes in medical records
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective carryover of services for patient care
• Perform outpatient evaluations and treatments
• Other duties as requested

Required Qualifications

• Master of Occupational Therapy required; Doctorate preferred
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Valid Wisconsin occupational therapy license with continuing education to maintain licensure
• Valid, current driver’s license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
