Radiotherapy Technologist - Contract Position

Job Description

Seeking Radiotherapy Technologists to support the Radiation Oncology department. This is a day shift position, Monday through Friday, 5 x 8-hour shifts with a start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Properly set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Assess patient status during direct patient interaction and make appropriate referrals to healthcare team members.
• Prepare for treatment delivery, including chart/film checks, room set-up, calculations, electronic medical record checks, and treatment calendar programming.
• Perform patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed.
• Collaborate closely with other radiation therapists and team members to perform additional tasks as required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ systems is preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience.
• ARRT certification and California RTT license.
• BLS certification.

Additional Information

• Up to 36 hours of on-call availability may be required during the assignment at no additional cost.
• Candidates must be able to start within 2 weeks of the requested start date; submissions with later start dates will be declined.
