Nursing Contract Opportunity - State College, Pennsylvania

Position Summary

• Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards and healthcare techniques.
• Make professional judgments related to patient care.
• Assist providers with patient care and education.
• Participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in coordinating patient care.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

Experience

• Minimum of one year of clinic nursing experience within the last year.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced, stressful, high-traffic medical office environment.
• Potential exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, bodily fluids, and other clinic-related conditions.
• May require irregular hours and travel to other office locations.

Physical Demands

• Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients.
• Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 50 pounds.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
