Job Opportunity: Digital Acute Care Registered Nurse

Location: Peoria, Illinois
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Position Summary

The Digital Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides both virtual and in-person nursing care to adult patients across the healthcare system. Care is delivered through telehealth technology in a centralized command center and hands-on care in patients' homes. The role focuses on proactive monitoring, prevention, early intervention, and ongoing care to optimize patients' quality of life at home. The RN uses evidence-based care and clinical decision support, collaborates with healthcare teams, patients, and families, and acts as a patient advocate and resource.

Requirements

Active Illinois nursing license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
BLS (AHA) certification
Must produce a negative drug screen for all panels (drug-free campus policy)
Submission requires last four digits of SSN, middle initial, and requested time off

Additional Information

Shift: 6 PM to 6 AM
Orientation: 12 non-billable hours (guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation)
Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours off every 13 weeks with no penalty or pay deduction
Local rate adjustments apply for clinicians living within 50 miles
