Required Qualifications

• Active BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Orthopedic and robotics experience
• Scrubbing required for RNs

Schedule

• Day shift
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Start times are 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling

Call Requirements

• Weeknight call is rare unless covering for a regular call RN
• One weekend day every 4 to 5 weeks
• 24-hour call rotation on either Saturday or Sunday
• One holiday per contract, on rotation
• Call response time: 20 minutes for C-section call, 30 minutes for other cases

Unit Details

• 6 operating rooms
• 2 endoscopy suites
• 1 C-section suite
• 2 pain clinic rooms
• Typical volume: 15 to 20 cases per day in the main OR

Floating

Orientation

• General hospital orientation for 3 to 4 days
• 1 week of OR orientation

• Scrubs are provided
• OR-specific shoes are required
• Candidates cannot live in North Platte, Nebraska
