Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
- Recent Level I or Level II trauma experience
- Driver’s license required at submittal
Job Details
- Emergency department role in a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Fast-paced, high-acuity setting
- RNs must read and interpret telemetry strips
- Floating required to OBS and a freestanding ER at least once per week
Schedule / Staffing
- Shifts may include: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, 3:00 PM–3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Schedule is set by leadership
- Weekend and holiday needs vary by department
Orientation
- 1 week of onboarding
- 2 shifts at one site and 1 shift at another site
Additional Notes
- Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
- Candidates cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with certain affiliated facilities
- RTO must be submitted upfront; no additional RTO will be approved
