Active RN license
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
TNCC
Recent Level I or Level II trauma experience
Driver’s license required at submittal

Job Details

Emergency department role in a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
Fast-paced, high-acuity setting
RNs must read and interpret telemetry strips
Floating required to OBS and a freestanding ER at least once per week

Schedule / Staffing

Shifts may include: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, 3:00 PM–3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule is set by leadership
Weekend and holiday needs vary by department

Orientation

1 week of onboarding
2 shifts at one site and 1 shift at another site

Additional Notes

Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
Candidates cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with certain affiliated facilities
RTO must be submitted upfront; no additional RTO will be approved
